Cheshire Juniors have 2 county matches. 1.NCAS INTERCOUNTIES 5 COUNTIES MATCHThe 5 counties match is held on the first Sunday in September/first Saturday in October and is between Cheshire, Lancashire, Cumbria, Durham and Northumberland and Yorkshire. Selection for this team is based on scores achieved at the Cheshire Junior Championships which is held at Cheshire County Bowmen ground on the first Sunday in September.The team comprises of 3 Junior recurve girls, 3 junior recurve boys, 2 Junior Girl compound , 2 Junior Gent compound, 2 Junior Lady Longbow and 2 Junior Gent Longbow plus another . (If there are insufficient longbows or compounds we can replace the places with more recurve archers)There is no entry fee for this competition which is based on Bristol rounds . The team manager will send off entry forms for this and will distribute target lists and results..2.Lancashire vs Cheshire MatchThis is held in April in Lancashire. Any juniors can enter this but they must send off their own application forms. The shoot is based on Metric rounds.The team comprises of 4 Junior Boy recurve, 4 Junior Girl recurve, 2 Junior Boy compound, 2 Junior Girl compound, 2 Junior Girl longbow and 2 Junior Boy Longbow. Team members are based on scores achieved on the day and team members will receive a refund on their entry fee.
